APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAIRPERSON

The European Modern Restaurant Association (EMRA) was established in 1995.

Dear Visitor,

I am delighted that you have taken time to visit our website.

As chairman of the European Modern Restaurant Association it seems only natural that I should extend a personal word of welcome to you at the entrance. After all, welcomes, great tasting food and overall delightful experiences is what the food service industry is all about.
Enjoy your stay and come back soon !

Roland Higgins

The aim of EMRA is to enhance the dialogue with policy makers and opinion leaders at a European and – if appropriate – national level on matters affecting the modern restaurant industry as a whole:

To increase awareness of the European Union’s modern restaurant industry as a vital engine for economic growth and job creation

To establish a fact-based dialogue at the European Union level regarding policy matters such as food quality and safety, franchising, employment and training standards and environmental responsibility

To liaise with other business and interest groups on matters of joint interest

EMRA: The key facts -

EMRA restaurants are located in all 15 member states of the European Union, as well as in Central and Eastern Europe.
